BitMeeting® leverages the latest Web 2.0 and Cloud technologies. Unlike other platforms of video-communication, the minimum requirements for access are reduced to a common web browser, a webcam, headset and a broadband connection, without any additional configuration of software or licenses on your computer.

In order to successfully use BitMeeting, all you need is:

- Browser Google Chrome ver. 37 or higher, or Firefox ver. 26 or higher
- Operating Systems Microsoft Windows, Mac OSX, Android

Currently devices running iOS (iPad, iPhone) are not compatible. A specify APP is at the Beta Testing phase. On the pother hand, all the Android tablets and smartphones afre fully compatible.

In order to verify the requirements, simply click the link in the email invitation. Upon entering the test session, a recorded voice will guide you. If all the network requirements will be satisfied (firewall, bandwidth can be allocated, etc.) and the test session will be successful, you will, therefore, successfully access the planned meeting.

Two access modes are provided: one for attending a session within the virtual classroom (the invitation from the organiser is required), and another one to organise a session.

- To organise a session: you have to purchase the service. After purchasing it, credentials for the Client Area will be provided by email.

- To join in a session: The system automatically sends via email the access code to all participants invited by the moderator / organiser. Clicking on the "Login" button, you can directly log on to the virtual classroom, without any additional steps.

BitMeeting® supports a multi-language function (Italian, English and Mandarin Chinese). The interface will automatically adjusts to the user's system language, recognising it from the browser settings.
